Kilchoan Estate by Dunton is a 13,000-acre private wilderness retreat set on the remote Knoydart Peninsula in the Scottish Highlands, between Loch Nevis and Loch Hourn. Accessible only by boat or on foot, the estate offers a rare sense of seclusion paired with Dunton’s signature approach to hospitality—intimate, design-led, and deeply rooted in place. A collection of thoughtfully restored cottages and lodges blends traditional Highland architecture with refined interiors by Waldo Works, incorporating local materials and craftsmanship that reflect the surrounding landscape.
